This year, the number of students participating in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam and its equivalent examinations was 2026574, which is about 4 lak more than the number of participants in the last year.
Meanwhile, 1022320 boys and 1004255 female candidates took part in SSC examination this year.Due to the number of question papers leaked in the year 2018, there was a proposal to omitted the objective question in this year SSC examination. But, considering the overall condition this proposal had not implement in 2019.
Every year a huge number of student appears in the SSC & equivalent exam. This year a total 21,35,333 students sat for the SSC and equivalent exams from 28,682 educational institutions across the country. Of them 17, 00,102 students appeared in the JSC exam from the eight General Education Boards and 3,10,172 under the Madrasha Education Board. Of the total candidates, 10,70,441 are male and 10,64,892 are female. Besides, 434 students sat the SSC examinations from eight overseas centers.
